So, you are a fanatic fan of anime? You must have seen anime movies and series, but can you name one of the top favorite ones?

By Japanese fans, it was voted the number one anime series. On the MyanimeList website, it is ranked as the number one popular anime. What made Death Note so popular and enthralling is that the film goes to places where other anime series haven’t dared to go. From 2003 to 2006 the original manga series was published and 108 chapters and 12 volumes were included. It was composed of 37 episodes directed by Tetsuro Araki and was developed by Madhouse. From October 2006 to June 2007 it was broadcasted in Japan. In this anime series, a light novel was released in the year 2006, and also three live-action films, a series of Nintendo video games, a miniseries in Japan, and a TV drama as well as in August 2017 on Netflix a US film was shown.

2. Attack on Titan – Shingeki no Kyojin

Attack on Titan is a tremendous and absolute anime. The series is about Eren Jaeger a young man whose mother was killed, and giant humanoid Titans on earth destroyed his hometown. The storyline, the atmosphere of the TV series, and the imagery make the show so unique and most anime fans loved it. The original Attack on Titans has only 25 episodes but the captivating storyline of the anime series and the entire production made it the longest-running anime series. In 2013 the original series was aired, manga series and a spin-off light novel created the anime series successfully. In 2017 the second season was aired, and the third one was aired in July 2018. 74 million printed copies were sold in 2018 which made a big hit in history.

3. Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood

Many think anime is for only kids, but you have to think again. Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood is the wonderful world of anime for adults and is a great place to start watching animes. It has 65 episodes, which are craving and more interesting. In 2009 the series was premiered directed by Yasuhiro Irie and written by Hiroshi Onogi and until 2010 it ran. The series had viewers from non-Japanese as well, and it was released subtitled in English. The series aired in Australia, the UK, the US, and many other countries through Blu-ray box sets and DVDs, and it attracted millions of fans worldwide. This anime series is so brilliant that you will never want to miss a single scene, you will never feel bored, and you will not feel too fast-forward a single scene.

4. Naruto Shippuden

After releasing the first series of Naruto years back, Naruto’s franchise has become huge. Films, games and series, numerous comics, and related products had made many Naruto fans grow. Why people around the world loved this series because of its superb characters including the antagonists. This is one of the lengthy anime series and most watchable and the story keeps us excited and interested all the time. From 2007 to 2017, it aired 500 episodes, and the fans of Naruto followed their favorite anime hero and their favorite series through the years. Unlike the original Naruto series, Naruto Shippuden made a huge success. In the series, there are some scenes that you don’t want to miss and make you watch them again and again and their outstanding music and animation make you mesmerizing.

5. Dragon Ball Z

Among the anime series around the world, Dragon Ball Z or DBZ is one of the most popular animes. It was illustrated and written by Akira Toriyama and was adapted and was a sequel to the original Dragon Ball series. If you are a fan of the series you will truly have fun observing, and the characters have matured and grown since the prequel Dragon Ball series. From 1983 to 1996 the Dragon Ball Z series aired 261 episodes. 17 movies and 148 video games were released based on Dragon Ball since it has become popular in the US and Japan. Dragon Ball Super and Dragon Ball GT are the two sequel series of Dragon Ball Z. Dragon Ball Z series are a must-watch for anime enthusiastic.
